ATI Phosphate Stop AL is a high-efficiency, aluminium based phosphate absorber. Due to its open pore structure it far out performs similar products currently on the market. It binds various organic compounds and pollutants as well as silicon.
In the first 24hrs of use ATI Phosphate Stop AL will remove heavy metals from your water but will release them again. For any effective heavy metal removal ATI Phosphate Stop Aluminium should be removed after the first 24hrs of use.
Activated Carbon should not be needed with the regular use of ATI Phosphate Stop AL.
We recommend using between 25 and 50g Phosphate Stop AL per 100 litres water, but as every aquarium is different you should monitor phosphate levels closely and decide what’s best for your aquarium.
