Iodine an incredibly important element in a saltwater aquarium- one that is essential to make it thrive successfully. It is a vital element for the thyroid functions of marine fish and is supports many other organisms.
This includes- but is not limited to- corals, sponges, shells and algae.
The function of iodine in each of these organisms has not yet been thoroughly investigated; however, a higher consumption of Iodine is shown to occur in more brightly lit aquariums. The element is also suspected to intensify blue colouring in corals of the genus Acropora.
1 ml of ATI Iodine increases the iodine concentration of 100 litres to 100 µg/l
