The Maxi range of filters from Aqua One are a great choice of filtration that won’t break the bank. With a range of compartments for filter media (number of compartments dependant on model) these filters can be customised to suit the demands of your aquarium: supplied with sponge media by default, this can be supplemented by the addition of chemical, biological or mechanical media into the compartments to enhance your filtration.
The filter is also provided with a range of outlets, offering further customisability to suit the needs of your aquarium. Included with the outlets is a venturi nozzle; allowing for additional aeration as the fine bubbles produced will help to increase gas transfer as they break at the surface, allowing oxygen to easily dissolve into the aquarium.
