The EHEIM Professionel 4+ is the next stage of the Professional 3 range of external filters, and features a brand new ‘emergency’ button.
Eheim have made many quality of life improvements to this filter when compared to the Professional 3 series – including but limited to a more powerful performance, more optimal energy efficiency, quieter operation, better priming aid, safety hose adapter and also improved new technology with the incorporation of the ‘Xtender’ button.
In the unfortunate event that the output is reduced due to the fine filter media clogging with detritus, the 'Xtender' button can be adjusted to redirect the flow. As a result, the biological filtration is maintained and the service interval can be extended by a few days.
This filter also comes with an integrated heater, meaing less clutter in and around your tank!
