Waterlife Bacterlife contains two types of bacteria; Heterotrophic bacteria and Autotrophic bacteria. The 100ml solution is responsible for the digestion and breakdown of solid organic waste in an aquarium.

The Autotrophic bacteria inside Waterlife Bacterlife feed directly on soluble Nitrogen compounds in the water like ammonia and nitrate, allowing the solution to instantly start reducing ammonia levels without any dangerous increases beforehand - a problem associated with many solutions currently on the market containing just Heterotrophic bacteria alone.
